The House at Cherry Spring Retreat
The House at Cherry Spring Retreat is 3600 square feet and features a 1000 square foot workroom with adjacent kitchen, powder room, dining and living areas, 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, covered parking for up to 4 cars (includes a 200V outlet for electric cars) and a large side porch on which to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets.
Workroom Details
- Well-lit and over 1000 square feet!
- Workstations are set up for two tables per person – one adjustable height 4’x24” table, one standard height (29”) 4’x30” table and a rolling adjustable height chair.
- Sixty-eight (68) linear feet of design wall space (two @ 8’, three @ 12’ and 1 @ 16’)
- Wall and floor outlets with power tower to each workstation
- 4’ x 8’ Cutting table and raised 4’ x 30” table with mats and rulers
- Pressing stations – 2 large (2’ x 5’) stations, 1 standard ironing board, 2 irons

- Adjacent utility room with a washer, dryer, utility sink, and table for additional cutting mats
- Adjacent large half bath

Kitchen/Living/Dining Area
- Open floor plan with over 400 square feet and next to workroom
- Large appliances include electric range, refrigerator with bottom freezer, dishwasher
- Small appliances include 2 Keurigs and 2 standard coffeemakers, cold & hot bottled water dispenser, toaster, electric griddle, blender, crockpot, hand mixer, countertop icemaker & microwave
- Ground coffee & tea provided (plus sugar and some sweeteners, please bring your own K-cups and creamer) along with basic pantry items (flour, salt & pepper, spices)
- Room for your groceries (HEB in Fredericksburg is 15 minutes away) – meals are not provided
- Dishware, glassware, flatware, utensils, serving bowls, pots, pans, bakeware and more provided
- 72” round dining table seats 8-10, kitchen island with additional seating for 4
- Sectional sofa when you need a break from all that creating!
Bedrooms
- Three bedrooms, each with 3 twin beds and private bathrooms with showers and hair dryers
- Larger bedroom/bath is wheelchair friendly and includes a full size bed as the 3rd bed
- Bed linens and pillows provided but you may want to bring your own pillow
- Towels and washcloths provided along with some toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion)
- Rooms are named after Sarah’s grandmother (Oma Rode) and aunts who lived on the property: Clara, Ruth, and Sophie
